TappedIn DC LAUNCHES NEW ERA OF NETWORKING

New Event Series to Unite Online and Interpersonal Social Networking Methods

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?

Have you attended high-volume networking events only to find you’re not meeting the people who can truly help you? Are you excited about having a pocket of business cards when you leave events only to learn those “connections” aren’t really interested in doing business with you anyway? How do you begin to develop trust and loyalty with your virtual friends from LinkedIn or Facebook that you’ve not yet met face-to-face? The truth is people do business with friends.

How about if you could be guaranteed one true solid connection where you’re promised action the next day? Sound of value?

You can find that with TappedIn DC. We’re focused on DC’s local culture… and we’re the only organization that focuses on human business relationship building and combines both digital and real world opportunities specifically for Baby Boomer, Gen X, Gen Y, and Millennium professionals. We’re entrepreneurs, lawyers, photographers, students, salespeople, philanthropists, moguls and moguls-in-training, just to name a few. Our passions are all over the map, but we share one central belief: when it comes to success, we can’t do it alone. TappedIn DC is focused on attracting and forming multi-national, multi-generation, and multi-professional events filled with givers… those people who want to share their generosity and wisdom with others. People like you.

We provide:

1) Highly trained networking Connecters to work with you from beginning to end of the event in making the right connections. And who will follow-up with you after the event to make sure you receive value.

2) On-demand, at-event training on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter with optional, extensive follow-up training opportunities at special rates.

3) 5-10 min tutorials on effective professional networking skills and best practices. Hear famous experts describe their successes and lessons learned from failures.

4) Technology giveaways. We LOVE technology!

5) A guarantee of at least one meaningful connection that you can take action on following the event (pre-registration required, details below).

6) Free food, of course, from great venues to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Our field-tested events have a stated value from the $100s to $1,000s. We are certain that you’ll make TappedIn DC a place where, at any stage of your career, you can stop by, take a moment to shake hands with a new friend and embrace a unique form of relationship. Our attendees understand that their first greeting in meeting someone is “How can I help you?”

Our Culture: TappedInDC events are not designed for individuals solely focused on sales lead generation. We are about building a “give-for-the-sake-of-giving” community. And we’re all about maximizing the benefits to be received from both online and offline relationships and the local sense of community.

We are a giving organization first and foremost, so all proceeds go to non-profit organizations focused on helping improve the quality of life for the underpriviledged in the Dc-Metro Area. Pre-registration requires a minimum of $5. In order to strongly encourage our pre-registration process that enable us to ensure delivery on our brand promise, that donation increases to $25 on site (at the door).
